Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-24

These terms govern your use of slidekit.dev (the "Service"), operated by Trendvisor (트렌드바이저), represented by Seongbeen Lee (이성빈) ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

slidekit.dev lets you create, edit, present and share slide decks that are plain HTML, and lets you connect your own coding agent to handle comments on those decks. The slidekit software is open source under the MIT license; these terms cover the hosted Service only. The Service is in beta: features can change or break, and we may limit or remove features.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you may bind it to these terms. You must give accurate sign-in information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including actions taken by agents you connect (see section 6).

3. Your content

  • You own your content. Decks, images, comments and other material you put into the Service stay yours.
  • License to run the Service. You give us a limited license to store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to provide the Service to you and the people you choose to share it with (for example, serving a shared deck, making backups, generating thumbnails).
  • Sharing. A deck is private until you share it. Anyone who has a share link you create can view the deck as you configured it (public link or password). You are responsible for the content you share and for who you give links and passwords to.
  • Your responsibility. You promise that you have the rights to your content and that it follows our Acceptable Use Policy and the law.

4. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break it (section 9). To report a problem, see Report abuse or infringement.

5. Open source and third-party material

The open-source software is licensed under its own license terms. Decks may include third-party material (fonts, images, code). You are responsible for having the rights to use it.

6. Agents and access tokens

You can create personal access tokens so that a coding agent you control can read comments and edit your decks. A token acts as you. Keep tokens secret, revoke them in Settings if they leak, and only connect agents you trust. We are not responsible for what an agent does with the access you give it, including edits it makes to your decks. Content that comes from comments, decks or notes is data for the agent to work on; do not rely on the Service to stop an agent from following instructions that are hidden in content.

7. Availability, beta and changes

We try to keep the Service available but do not promise uptime. During the beta, limits (storage, number of decks, request rates) can change. We may change the Service or these terms; when a change needs your agreement again, we ask you to accept the new version, and the version date at the top of this page tells you which text applies. Continued use after a change that does not need new agreement means you accept it.

8. Your data and ending your account

You can export your data and delete your account in Settings. Deleting your account deletes your profile and sign-in records and the content you own, subject to short delays and backup retention described in the Privacy Policy. You can stop using the Service at any time.

9. Suspension and termination

We may remove content, limit features or suspend or close an account if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law, or to protect the Service and other people. Where reasonable we tell you why and give you a chance to export your data, unless that would be unsafe or unlawful.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, that content will never be lost (keep your own copies; decks are plain HTML files you can export), or that it fits a particular purpose.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for claims about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Intellectual property complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, use the process on the Report abuse or infringement page.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The Gwangju District Court is the court of first instance with jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law gives you the right to go to court where you live.
